This is insane. Transwomen *are* male - otherwise they wouldn’t be trans! justin webb was explaining the controversy to a mainstream audience, who might otherwise assume a transwoman is a woman who identifies as trans. Why would the BBC want to obfuscate a news story?

1. Crime statistics are rendered useless if violent and sexual attacks committed by men are recorded as female crimes.
2. Activists are already clamouring for this sadistic killer to be incarcerated in a women's prison.
3. Ideologically-driven misinformation is not journalism.

We remain grateful that principled, high-profile women like J.K. Rowling are courageous enough to keep speaking out against this anti-woman ideology.
