It occurs to me that early adapters to future climate change save money by avoiding premature refurbishment of assets that become unfit . Early adopters of VRE waste money on immature technologies that have a way to go on the cost reduction curve.

Heard on Canberra public radio this morning: “solar power costs 4c per kWh (O&M) so long as the government provides the capital for purchase, so you can blame them for high electricity costs.” Sage approval from all the guests followed. Let’s also give their kids free houses!
