a tension i'm contending with: i learn quickly because i'm willing to change my opinions, be malleable, and flip my assumptions.

but, i'm trying to learn to stand my ground. to doubt myself less and to hold my opinions. what if learning to do this makes me...a worse learner?

one thing I love about seasons is relearning how to dress, at the start of every season.

One thing that's frustrating about LLMs today is that often to get best results, you have to talk to it like a human.

But, we've been trained with search engines to be efficient and talk to a computer like a computer. So, it feels slow to talk to a computer like a human.

One weird thing I love doing is building taste — e.g. in fashion, interior design, wedding aesthetic, UI design, etc.

It's like, oddly fun to hone an opinion on what I, uniquely like, and develop an eye for something.

A lot of the canonical way we build products today is based on methods developed at ads-based, consumer companies. e.g. A/B testing, success metrics, impact prioritization, design systems, etc.

What if these methods shouldn't actually be applied to other types of software?
