Such a huge honour to be selected as one of the winners of the Climate Journalism Award last night, alongside so many other brilliant journalists. And a big shout out to Jocelyn Timperley, who commissioned and edited the winning story!
For BBC Future, I wrote about the ancient tank cascades in Sri Lanka, looking at how this hydraulic system harvests rainwater to provide a lifeline for communities during prolonged periods of drought.
