It’s a High Holy Day for Knicks fans. On this date in 1970 Willis limped onto the court and Clyde went for 36 and 19 as the Knicks beat LA to win their first title. Clyde’s first words entering the locker room; “Man, I need a beer.” I, along with other media folk, was there.
