When designing this Peruvian restaurant for Lux Grand Gaube in Mauritius, I took to Google to find images of the country and environment of Peru, to create a strong connection with the use of pattern and colour, as well photography of the landscape.

Here we have a simple shade of powder white transformed into a sharpness, by the use of strong black borders on mirrors. Then, creating sweeps of lines on the wall echoing the shape of the wardrobe gives the space an edginess.

Mountain loving... In this chalet, creating linear lines with darker wood floor and ceiling draws your eye to the end of the hallway, with a juxtaposition of the track lighting, which I love.

After a long day skiing, food is everything and a kitchen is the gathering space the heart of a home.
