What is with parents and snack for their young kids sports?! No lie my son gets 5 or more snacks after almost every game (all from one parent. Also, very little activity goes into 5yr old baseball) When did giving out a weeks worth of snacks become the protocol?! So damn weird

The stomach bug has officially got everyone in my family EXCEPT me…the puke cleaner…sick kid snuggler…the one in it all. Hoping I’m just “lucky” and my dues were paid by the above actions 😬

Big news! This Friday I get to walk/jog! Huge eye roll 🙄 but also 😁 Hoping it’s a seamless comeback

The only perk to being injured is that I focus on the things I usually neglect…strength/core/rehab. I’m going to be strong as shit come end of April 😳

It’s 8am…I’ve cleaned every kennel & dog bed (3!) that were all covered in dog 💩. Bathed a puppy that was also covered in 💩. Fed my tiniest human in the too early hrs. Fed/dressed all kids. Did 3 loads of laundry. Took the trash bins out. Fed the chics/collected eggs. 🙄☕️

Just wanting to run…the tricky thing with the femoral stress fracture is that you’re supposed to be non weight bearing for several weeks. I have 4 kids & 4 dogs & a life. How?! I try but honestly I find it so much easier to just go about life per usual & use crutches sparingly

Your kids watch you…they see you at your best and your worst and really all we can hope is that they take away some good in the things that you do. My 12 month old wants to run on the treadmill every day…just like mom and big sis. She is so proud and my heart just explodes

All of my Xmas stuff is still up with no current takedown date in sight (life🙄)…however, I feel ok about this as I drove through downtown and all of their stuff is still up as well. Thanks flagstaff

Stopped in camp verde for gas enroute to our team camp in phx…for me it’s less than 24hrs…and I’m having trouble finding the motivation to keep driving 😩🤦🏼‍♀️

Monday. 11 mth old woke up puking all over me and the bed and then refused to sleep for several hours, spilt coffee as I fell walking up the stairs, new coffee in thermos flies to the floor within 10 sec of driving…busts open and spills everywhere. Really just another day…

The curse of kiltie. I’m not a superstitious person but both workouts that I’ve done this marathon block at our “kiltie loop” I’ve been sick for. One I had Covid and this time just sick. Think I’ll stay away for the rest of the NYC segment…

7th at US 20k Championships. Kind of a flop but still happy to be out there…remembering how to be tough when things aren’t going right. Really the best kind of training is done on the worst days because you learn the most and have to go to the darkest places

Who are these weirdos that get to school pickup 20min early?! Came by to drop off some shoes for my daughter and now am stuck in this ridiculous line with no way out 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ Now going to be late for sons pickup. Internally screaming and laughing at the ridiculousness of this all.
