A company email told me that today is my 10-year anniversary at the The New York Times. I clipped this from David Carr's memoir the (terrifying) week I got hired. I go back to this little snippet occasionally. For me, every word is still true.
one NYT Pulitzer winner (Hannah Dreier) just accepted her award after giving her 6-week-old infant a kiss; another (@katieengelhart) said she was assigned her winning story while 8 months pregnant. always blown away by the working moms in this building but especially today!
