Almost a month after Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine sparked a movement by setting up an encampment dubbed the “Liberated Zone,” in reference to campus protests of '68, new liberated zones continue to emerge (though not all are encampments). Worth noting also that FIU is well into its summer term.

As YDSA, we are in full support of the UAW 4811 members' decision to go on strike to defend the rights of students and workers demanding divestment from the genocide in Gaza. We will be mobilizing our chapters to support these picket lines until we win!
