A bout of gastroenteritis can really make you forget all of your other problems as you curl up in a shivery mess. Unfortunately the problems are still there a couple of days later and now you feel utterly drained and unable to deal with them. Fair to say I’ve had better weekends.

Just had to do a closing set at the gig I was MCing because the final act didn’t turn up (was running late). Always a bit of a weird situation - you go on expecting the next act to turn up but then slowly you realise it’s all down to you now. Was actually good fun in the end.
