1) This morning on I-285, while responding to an accident w/ a person trapped, our firefighters were forced to exit the truck an WALK a 1/4 mile to the incident due to cars attempting to drive in the EMERGENCY LANE. This a dangerous act.

2) Driving in and blocking the emergency lane for firefighters can mean the difference between life and death for someone needing help in front of you. It’s NOT a short cut to bypass an accident and only INCREASES the time that you may be in traffic.
