I rented a house on Vrbo before I left NZ. The host was also a writer, and we hit it off. She took me to a movie theater in town to watch a Japanese movie, Perfect Days, directed by Wim Wenders. It's a quiet story, but captivating. We talked about it for hours over sushi 😋🇳🇿😍
