The Green Party cares deeply about the climate.

It has never been - and never will be - *only* about the climate.

There's no environmental justice without racial, social & economic justice.

Speaking out against the atrocities in Gaza is absolutely a Green value.

Itโ€™s a Cambridge thing and itโ€™s tedious and annoying - youโ€™re not some great thinker you just managed to get three As at A level THIRTY years ago. Move on!

I have really enjoyed 'Good Times' on Netflix, which has some really powerful messages within the entertainment.
One line that has stuck with me from the show is 'For too long, Black bodies have been the subject of observation rather than equal participants in conversation'

Despite all the vitriol, the scaremongering, the disinformation and the rabid racism directed towards him, this lad has been returned as Mayor by the people of London.

The reason London has become the worst nightmare of the hard right is very straightforward.

People from different backgrounds not only live together and mix together, but they enjoy doing so.

That's the future of Britain, which is an apocalyptic vision, sure, if you're a bigot.

The irony is many of these racist accounts that blame Sadiq Khan for everything - from knife crime to global warming - don't even live in London ๐Ÿ™„

Interesting that in London, which is the UKโ€™s most diverse city, Reform UK managed only 3.2% of the vote in the Mayoral election. When human beings actually live with people from different backgrounds, they tend to get along just fine.
