When the venerable poet Archibald MacLeish invited Bob Dylan to collaborate on a play, the iconic musician entered a different world.

Not only was the 78-year-old a multiple Pulitzer Prize winner, the piece he was writing – Scratch - felt far from Dylan’s current mindset. 🧵

“We’ve got Dylan back” was Rolling Stone reviewer Ralph Gleason’s response to the October 1970 release of Bob Dylan’s New Morning.

He was celebrating the contrast to the largely derided Self Portrait, but the two records are remarkably intertwined in time and thought. 🧵

Won’t forget how Hillsborough was treated all around the country.

The conspiracy only held for so long because people were so comfortable with it - the truth was known by seven o’clock that night.

One front page on the Tuesday and everyone had their excuse.

Justice?

Film we made in 2016, a short guide to the Hillsborough disaster and the inquest, which found that the 97 people were unlawfully killed due to South Yorkshire police gross negligence, and rejected the toxic police lies blaming Liverpool supporters.

Their long campaign for justice exposed police lies about Liverpool supporters, but still nobody held accountable.
