I had the honor of celebrating Mr. Anthony “Tony” Fabrizio’s 100th birthday today. I presented a state proclamation acknowledging this amazing milestone. Tony told me that the secret to living to 100 was his wife Bea. They have been married for 54 years.

Great joining this morning’s New Jersey AFL-CIO Labor brunch, recognizing several champions of organized labor. Also had the opportunity to stop by the City of Perth Amboy Housing Expo, to see firsthand the amazing work of the city’s employees! Great day in the 19th District!

It was an honor to join the Workers Memorial Day observance with the Middlesex & Somerset Central Labour Council of the @njaflcio. We paid our respects to those we lost over the last year and reaffirmed our commitment to stand in solidarity in the fight for dignity and safety.

This Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day celebration, we made sure to keep our kids far away from any committee meetings. From scavenger hunts to ice cream socials, the State House was filled with adventure and excitement! Who knew mom and dad had so much fun at work?

Ellen had the honor of speaking at the 30th anniversary of The Clothesline Project today.

As the Chair of Judiciary, she takes domestic violence, sexual violence & child abuse extremely seriously & it was an inspiration to join so many powerful advocates, leaders & survivors.
