Not for the first time Nigel Farage has played the media like a fiddle. It is the one thing he is very good at. But now that he has played his latest tune, they - and especially in this case the broadcast media - need to think long and hard about the role they have played in all

Just the BBC pretending it's fine to constantly platform Nigel Farage unlike last few years where they've constantly platformed him anyway.

Green Party - 800+ councillors.

There's a huge issue with the media in our country & toxic narratives they push.

You have to hand it to him - Farage is perfectly clear the future he’s offering is one of massive labour shortages, public services on their knees, & yet more division & hate. We’ve not recovered from his last disastrous experiment - let’s not fall for it a second time #r4today

My prediction is that he will cut a deal with the Tory Party like he always does… Lord Farage anyone?

Reform .. Brexit… UKIP will row in with the Tory Party having swept up all the extreme right wing votes like they always do.

The real concern is the way that Farage is acting, and more importantly being treated, as if he were a party leader or a candidate when in fact he's neither of these, and Reform itself isn't a party in the normal sense of the word. I'm not sure there's any precedent for this. 1/2

Can anybody explain why once again the BBC is giving wildly disproportionate coverage to Nigel Farage and his Brexit Party. He's not standing in any election, his 'party' has not won a single seat and is polling in single figures.
