Transparency builds trust, and trust builds teams that can weather any storm. Be open about challenges, decisions, and the company's direction. When your team feels informed and involved, they're more committed, creative, and proactive.

Poverty has a way of stripping people of their humanity. You can’t really relax, you can’t experiment and explore yourself because you’re too distracted with surviving. Most times it’s not a lack of ability, it’s just a lack of resources.

Do I miss the nuts and bolts and twiddly dials of IT? No.

Do I miss figuring out problems and helping the business? Yes, indeed.
