It cannot be overstated how dangerous the anti-gender movement is to young people. Even their 'respectable' members are taking the position that youth suicide is a manipulation tactic. These are people that *know* their beliefs kill kids, and they're calling the dead kids evil.

The whole idea of 'the Pritzker family' being a huge funding base for 'the Trans Lobby' was imagined up by right-wing antisemitic conspiracy theorist and anti-LGBT reactionary Jennifer Bilek. In reality the Pritzkers mostly donated to Republicans but now support Lincoln Project.

And yes, it’s nice/necessary to post phone numbers and websites where people can get help. But you know what’s even nicer? Not stigmatizing mental illness and mental health care to the point that people are too ashamed to talk about it or seek help.

There’s such a sad contradiction between the way people talk about mental illness/suicide when someone dies from it vs how people with mental illness are treated when they’re still alive but struggling.

Having adhd is... having the most useless name for a disorder ever. I do not have an 'attention deficit', I can pay attention plenty. What I have a problem with is REGULATING the attention. I have a self regulation disorder that is neurodevelopment at the root, not behavioural.

We've got to protect remote working and hybrid conferences and events. All of these have increased over the last few years and are steps forward, not something to regress back on as soon as we see it as 'convenient' to do so. Accessibility isn't negotiable or inconvenient.
