If you live anywhere close or might be able to get to one of the Home Office sites at short notice, keeping in touch with Anti Raids Network Action Against Detention & Deportations (AADD) SOAS Detainee Support (SDS) & others is vital.

Meanwhile the orgs offering legal support to detainees eg BID AVID need donations.

Today we met people who were scared to go in, didn’t know if they should keep playing by the rules or give up on HO and make their way underground.

Ordinary men, women & kids from all over the world, confused, scared, saying they just need help & protection from the government.

Meanwhile we know another 5 people have been detained today while checking in at the reporting centre in Loughborough.

Again, there are community activists there, giving out information, but not the numbers needed to block the vans & stop the detentions.

All support needed.

While we were at Lunar House in Croydon, others were at Eaton House in Hownslow, another HO site.

About an hour ago they tried to stop someone being taken away, but were outnumbered by cops.

Still a big police presence there & more detentions likely. People desperately needed.

People are at risk of being bundled into vans & taken away.
We really need people there ready to respond

Let's be clear.
The people the UK is planning to deport to Rwanda are NOT 'unsuccessful asylum seekers' or 'illegal immigrants.'
They come from countries like Afghanistan, Eritrea & Syria, & if they were allowed to claim asylum, would in most cases be granted it.
