This school year I checked out 22,928 books to my students 😁 That means my 536 students have an average checkout of 51 books this school year 🙌 Not bad for 3-8 year olds. I hope they read even more next year. #librarians

Attila Veres' THE BLACK MAYBE was a huge hit with readers, finalist for the Stoker Award, and Rue Morgue's Best Collection of 2022. We think it's one of the best horror collections in recent years. Which is why we're excited to announce there will be a second Veres book in 2025!

Still one week left to get these two great titles on Kindle for $2.99 worldwide! David Karp's ONE (1953) is a classic dystopian novel, and Robert Westall's ANTIQUE DUST (1989) is one of the best M.R. James-style ghost story collections.

It’s been rather unpleasant week. My reading buddy Miriam passed then we had to say goodbye to her sister Nocturna yesterday. Getting the newest installment of WXXT Program Guide in from Matthew M. Bartlett (Gare Occult) has cheered me up tremendously.
