The research illustrated that among transgender & disability communities:

🔵Trust in systems like government, health & pharmaceutical institutions influenced intent to vaccinate

🔵Concerns about side-effects in relation to specific health needs led to delays in vaccination

Co-creation of approaches to combat misinformation is key: 'If we had not centered community involvement in our process, we would have ended up with an entirely different product. And, that product would have likely been less effective in engaging the target populations.'
