Through prayer, you to connect with your Lord. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “When any one of you stands to pray, he is communicating with his Lord, so let him pay attention to how he speaks to Him.” Don’t cut this relationship between you and your Creator.

reading the Qur’an, is a means to purify our hearts and bring about change inside of us. But in order to really feel the effect of His words on us, we have to be willing to go deeper in order to reap the tremendous benefits of their meaning.

Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: “Read the Quran (regularly) for it will act as an intercessor for its readers on the Day of Resurrection.” [ Muslim].

Allah has a plan for you. Trust His plan.

As Muslims, we should be careful in not losing hope in our dua. We should also ensure that we don’t get impatient by setting expectations for getting immediate results. The Prophet (SAW) said:

Know that He (glorified and exalted be He) is Al-Khaliq, The One who created us Al-Qadir, The One who is able to do anything, no matter how impossible it might seem to our limited perception. This will help us create our relationship with Allah in a positive framework,

in order to have a heart that is connected to Allah we need to get to know Him first. How do we expect to build a strong relationship with someone we barely know? Allah gave us multiple ways to do this, one of which is through the Qur’an
