Israeli bombs killed baby Hani Mahmoud Qishta's parents in October. Hani was saved from his dying mother's womb & raised by his aunt, his brothers&sisters. Two days ago all of them were killed in Rafah. 9 members of the Qishta family were killed in total, including four children

From a values perspective, if you want a world at peace then triggering defence and security values increases the chances of conflict happening. Values shape behaviour. What does Ireland wish to see? More conflict? More peace?

So many voices in the media and politics misunderstand or misrepresent migration and migrants. We need to push back with analysis, evidence, empathy and understanding.

Eating less red meat is really important as a part of addressing climate justice. The Irish Farmers' Association and agriculture generally must embrace more regenerative practices. Industrial Agriculture has to change. We need to stop subsidising the collapse of our planets climate stability.

There are decades where nothing happens and weeks where decades happen. 5 days is all it took for Trinity College Dublin to commit to fully divesting from Israel. A testament to grassroots student-staff power.

Israel’s army tells Palestinians forcibly displaced from Rafah where they should go, leaving many to choose between an overcrowded strip of scrubland or neighbourhoods turned to rubble by Israel’s war ⤵️

But what blew me away was the level of personal anguish among the experts who have dedicated their lives to climate research. Many used words like hopeless, broken, infuriated, scared, overwhelmed.
