On the two occasions I sought to be a Chair of an NHS trust I learnt that they considered me “too challenging”
They wanted someone who was “one of us”
That’s the problem
No diversity of thought
No challenge
Always looking for someone that will represent them, not their patients.

When a woman says she was raped, she’s asked ‘why didn’t you report to the police?’

The police recorded 67,169 rapes in 2022. Only 2 in 100 rapes were charged.

Instead of asking why victims don’t report rape, let’s ask police why they’re failing to hold rapist’s accountable.

These record-breaking figures should sound the alarm. They are indicative of a system that is broken and a Government that has refused to listen to young people demanding change. The Government must get a grip on the scale of this crisis.
