I just played my new dub plate out live for the first time and one of my tunes got such a reaction, people smiling, bouncing and loving it. Honestly one of the coolest feelings I've ever had!
Oh, and this tune will be on the new album too. Legitimately dancefloor certified.

This Kendrick vs Drake beef, as someone without much of a vested interest in the backstory, but who loves a good rap battle. I gotta say Drake ate. Track, flow, bars, content, swagger and delivery, Drake's track blew Kendrick out the water imo.

Reckon I might just fuck about and finish this album today!

If you are DJing and get to the last five minutes of your set without having made a mistake, fake an injury and lay on the floor holding your knee to run down the clock. That way, you can preserve your perfect, mistake-free mix and also generate a little sympathy from the crowd.

I've been sitting on a 90% finished album for months now just feeling indecisive about how to release it.
Think it's time to get it out into the world though. I'm currently thinking Bandcamp only.

Drank far too much coffee and listened to too much jungle on the way to work this morning. My brain is essentially a 200bpm breakcore set right now.

I went to The Rave Story at Electrowerkz yesterday and had one of the best days ever. Absolute tunes in every room, and in the year of our Lord 2024 the fucking hardcore room was the busiest and most buzzing out of all of them! 3 generations of happy sweaty ppl raving together 😁

Just had a class night at Planet Wax open decks. Met some old friends, made some new ones, heard some great tunes. May have played a few bangers myself. What these guys have created is like a blueprint for exactly what the scene needs, it's the highlight of my week every time.

I've just uploaded a new mix with an hour of upfront, modern jungle and hardcore. It's nice to be playing sets full of (mostly) new tunes that I'm absolutely buzzing about; rave is truly back. Enjoy. mixcloud.com/slundarq/moder…
