Birth of the AFC Central

On Saturday, May 10, 1969, the realignment for the 1970 merger is set.

Steelers will move with the rival Cleveland Browns in what will be named the AFC Central division, joining the Cincinnati Bengals and the Houston Oilers.

I remember my father and uncle discussing this at the time, certain that he had been murdered. RIP Big Daddy Lipscomb
