This week we are really enjoying the sunshine! We must remember to drink lots of water and wear a sun hat - the best way to protect eyes and delicate skin.

The Nursery children are really enjoying caring for their potato plants. The potatoes have reached stage 3 already! The plants will soon be flowering! Praying for a bountiful crop.

Year 1 enjoyed practising their fielding and striking skills in the beautiful sunshine this afternoon.

What a great afternoon celebrating our love for reading. Author Dickie Barr and Fr Nigel opened and blessed our new library. Children in KS1 had a special story time and then our community came together for the grand opening. Thank you to St Vincent De Paul for all their fundraising!

4DA were learning about the Ascension of Jesus.

The children have enjoyed lots of creative opportunities in Reception this week. They have designed their clay sculpture ready to make next week, learnt how to draw an elephant and have made some wonderful necklaces. Well done children.

The Reception children have enjoyed exploring their learning in the outdoor area this week.

This week, the Reception children are writing their own version of our class book, The Leopard's Drum. We are so proud of their writing.

Year 6 are investigating the mass (kg) of hearts that belong to different living organisms and the number of times it beats per minute as part our our science unit. Scattergraph incoming!

Reception Mozart have really enjoyed making African necklaces today.

Year 2 had fun this afternoon sharing the letters they had written with their Year 4 buddies. We are so proud of them!

Our Friday Secret Reader surprised Year 2 with some stories read in Polish followed by an English story about a mouse who was convinced he was a lion! We were transfixed!
