I have hearing loss of about 50% and pretty much can't function in society without hearing aids and my Audiologist wouldn't even submit the paperwork for the tax credit because I'm not disabled enough. It all looks good on paper but won't help the majority

Hayden Ira May 🍉 Jeez. It's not the audiologist's hearing aid, it's YOUR hearing aid! Audiologist's job is to make sure you benefit from it, not to control you. I know finding a good audiologist is difficult, but maybe time to look for a new one? Being deaf can be exhausting at times.
