#OTD in 2010: Cathay Pacific Flight 780, an A330, makes an emergency landing in Hong Kong. All 322 aboard survive. Jet had severe engine issues and landed at almost twice the normal speed. Enquiry determined that fuel contamination caused loss of thrust control on approach.
