Cycled from Madeley to Coalport, Coalport to Ironbridge, then back to Madeley.
Drove to Chirk. Walked the aquaduct and tunnel.
Then canoed the Pontcysyllte aquaduct.
Drove to Rhandirmwyn and explored an abandoned WW2 mustard gas and atomic

Always worth a visit, Chirk Castle on the Welsh Marches.

Hello everyone this is my random Sunday Morning walk in February 2024 I started at Black Park then onto the road by Chirk Airfield then into some woods which leads into Pentre back onto the A5 then back to Black Park!

Making good headway near Chippenham in 1953, Bristol Bath Road-allocated 5025 Chirk Castle works the 08.20 Weekday Weston-Super-Mare – Paddington in fine style. 5025 would be withdrawn from 86C Hereford Shed on 13th November 1963 following a brief reprieve from storage at Oxford.
