In Minerals and Rocks lab today, we started to think about crystallography by making paper snowflakes and evaluating their mirror planes of symmetry. By the end of the lab, we had moved on to the 'wooden blocks from hell' and mastered 2-fold, 3-fold, 4-fold, 6-fold and inversion.
