@newyorkermag features Faith Ringgold's “Sonny’s Bridge” from the High's collection. This work was a tribute to her childhood friend, jazz musician Walter Theodore “Sonny” Rollins. Faith Ringgold passed away in April at the age of 93. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.

Today, Year 1 completed their art work. After reading the book ‘Tar Beach’ by FaithRinggold the children made their own piece of work correlating each task to make their masterpieces. #Year1
