4 horror films you feel are underrated, underappreciated, need more love, or not mentioned enough

Honorable mentions: Ghostwatch & Tales from the Hood

I showed my mum last night’s Inside No. 9 and she loved it, and I’ve finally convinced her to watch Ghostwatch after years of campaigning 🎉

These are great movies to watch anyways, but there's a reason you definitely won't want to miss these scenes 🤯

Honorable mentions to Slither & Frailty, which also kick ass

Every single performance in 'George & Tammy' was recorded live—no lip synching, no faking it. Jessica Chastain and Michael Shannon tell us everything from their time filming these scenes together: bit.ly/42KFC9V

The reason that Ghostwatch worked is because it was a one-off and sold itself as genuine.

Deadline worked because it was the first time tried anything like that.

With this, we know what's going on right from the off and are under no illusion that it's real.

Bit of a Ghostwatch problem with Inside No 9, in that Lee Mack was really convincing playing himself but the Proper Actors mostly weren’t.

I also think it should have ended with someone changing the channel and us seeing one second of the On the Buses parody.

C Diamond Jay Bauman I'd put Mullan there.
I met Cosmo at the Dublin Film Festival, alongside Pammy Early herself, Brid Brennan. Yes, I shouted 'Pammy! Doomwatch and Ghostwatch together at last!' , and then told a delighted Cosmo I loved his Hammer House of Horror.

Inside no 9 was so brilliant last I nearly switched channels. Even my TV menu was saying 3 by 3 Quiz show. Not felt like that since Ghostwatch.

Mike Scott Well, I enjoyed their performances as characters. On second watch, there's a wonderful amount of backstory.

They were nowhere nearly the Early family of Ghostwatch.

May 15th 'Ghostwatch' 1992
Spookiness:👻👻👻👻
I'm not really sure that this would qualify as found footage, since this aired as more of a special presentation on the BBC in 1992, but it does contain a lot of the same tropes. It's premise is that it's a live Halloween special 1/
