Tyne Bridge Kittiwake numbers nicely up today with many hundreds present as their cries echoed around. Slight indications of nest-building and nest refreshment as the delightful gulls took to the river to bathe. Photo: today, a pair strengthening their bond.

Mesmerizing colours and lots of gulls! The fish plant is open and the boats are unloading and the gulls are having a buffet of the “leftovers”.

I could watch gulls fly around for ages. If ever there was a bird that flies just for fun, it's these beauties

New theory. Viren has an irrational phobia of seagulls stemming from some horrible childhood trauma, and would’ve had a heart attack if he’d seen one of those giant gulls from season 5!
