I’m a big fan of the placement of Diana’s birth directly after the Amazons reach Themyscira. Hippolyta, after all the loss she’s endured, deciding to shape the infant that set her on the path to finding freedom gave me chills.

Darkseid allowed Hippolyta & the Amazons to set up a funeral for Diana while he watched them feel the pain of losing their best warrior. Darkseid also went to Atlantis and killed Arthur. Darkseid then killed Lois in the batcave. And you think we'll accept this in animation??

I really like the different depiction of Diana’s clay origin in Wonder Woman: Dead Earth where the Amazons get the gods so drunk that Hippolyta cuts all of their hands to draw blood for Diana’s creation
