Diane Brancazio and Justin Schmidt of Edgerton K-12 Maker helped the Itz'at STEAM Academy in Belize establish a makerspace. The project, a collaboration between Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), MIT Open Learning, and 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗘𝗖𝗦𝗧 🇧🇿, concluded with a visit from the Prime Minister and Ministry of Education.
