Moscow Patriarchy priests have been blessing fighter jets and other weapons of war with *holy water* for years. It's been very clear for a very long time they're not about pacifism. The photo below is from Crimea, 2014.

Pacifism is heretical and against Christendom. In our baptisms we renounce pacifism and are reborn as warriors. The day a Christian no longer fights is the day he is no longer a Christian. These prayers make it clear we are entering into a war that we must win.
