What's manipulative about showing what you kill even at the preemie age? So you just admitted you're not pro choice, you have a cut off point.

Thats not a mom or a 12 ounce preemie baby.

Over a month ago now someone I’m associated with had a Preemie. This lil guy was over a month early and just over 4 pounds. Lost weight fast as they do and still got to come home after a couple weeks and just over 4 pounds. Parents directed to come in daily to be weighed.

So preemie babies are at risk in AB hospitals and the response by the govt is WE WILL FLY THEM AWAY TO BE SAFE? Yrs of advocacy by HCWs and rather than govt deal with the problem, we shall export it out? Some days I wonder how many times these folks had a brain injuring disease.

I still fondly remember a preemie that we ambu-bagged all through a Sunday night.

It was maybe 10 hours to the end of a long exhausting weekend call and man were we tired !

Discharging the baby a few weeks later was one of the best part of paediatrics posting.

Also! In cases where a 22-week baby survives, such as a case example here, they make note of how extremely high risk it is and how the baby is only able to live with the now modern tech advances, which is what we were just talking about!
