Little Gulls are annual visitors in varying numbers to the Severnside Patch. Most are just seen in flight so it was nice to get a 'paddler' on Pilning Wetland this afternoon.

A well chilled Dunnock and one of 3 continuously calling willow warblers seen today on severnside.

All happening on Severnside this am! Thought I had bird of the morning with a cuckoo, before Nigel Warren easily outdid it with a pair of bearded tits in the wetland reedbed! At least 3 whinchat plus other things I missed like hobby and cattle egret! Paul Bowerman
