It pained Suzy to give up on Marjorie but this was her big break. She got the job and was seen as valuable. She couldn't say no to this opportunity. So, Marjorie remained a collection drawings and plans in a case under Suzy's desk at the studio.

A hardworking young gal who cared about her family and friends. Marjorie was always working a new job and helping out wherever she could. A wholesome character with good values at heart.

That was until she came upon a new studio in need of animators and ideaters. This was it, her big break! She carried her big case of drawings and plans to their main boardroom and laid everything out. Her big idea, the next great Toon to hook the people, Marjorie T. Mouse...

Needless to say I wasn't 'enticed', the ads alone were too much. (obviously there's nothing wrong with watching Pr*n or having sex) But it doesn't stop there...

It was tricky trying to audition for animated roles as an animated character, what's more Marjorie didn't really fit into any newer cartoons. She mostly got background character work, or a few minor speaking lines but nothing more. What was she to do?

One day, while watching some youtube in her secret corner of the interwebs, Marjorie learned a new phenomenon gracing the internet, Vtubers. A character that moved in time with a person behind a camera. They made music, played games and entertained their audiences.

Using the money she got from background work, she hired an artist to redesign her. Full color, more humanoid, and a bit taller. Next the name, it had to be cute but not as long as Marjorie. Finally she had to set up a stage to record herself.

The board was impressed with Suzy's marketing skills and drawings but there was just one problem with her pitch. It was a mouse. Suzy explained her reasonings for making Marjorie a mouse. But the board didn't like it.

Mice steal food and spread disease Not good for business nor as a character. Suzy protested, not wanting to let go of her creation. But the board said no to Marjorie. However, they did say yes to Suzanne. She would be a valuable member of the studio. Just 'lose the mouse'

Eventually, I simply researched 'Why aren't I interested in sex?' and that's when I learned about asexuality. That it's normal to not have those feelings and that I wasn't alone.
For a while I thought I'd have to suck it up and do it if I ever wanted to be with someone...

The day after the files had uploaded to the site, it was noticed that one of the character sketches was missing. The name and description were there but the image itself was gone. They tried uploading it again but the file was gone too. Even the physical sketch had vanished...

While I've thought of being a vtuber, I don't have the rizz, confidence or tech to do it.
Still, I can always imagine. ☁

As charming as her original design was, she needed to better fit in if this was going to work. A new name and a new body but she'd still be Marjorie underneath.

Was this it, the way Marjorie could fulfill her purpose as a cartoon. Bringing laughter and entertainment to folks on the internet. She had to try!
Doing some research on Vtubers (and subscribing to some herself) Marjorie came to a conclusion, she need an update.
