Happening Now: UTU WETU has (re)convened the Kenya Transitional Justice Network (KTJN) as a coordinating mechanism for the 'Advocacy for The Implementation of Reparations for Conflict Related Sexual Violence in Kenya' project we are implementing.

We mourn the loss of Benna Baluma, known as Mama Victor, who drowned in floodwaters while trapped in her house in Mathare.

Mama Victor, who lost two sons in the 2017 post-election violence, was a passionate advocate for police accountability.

Rest in peace Mama✊

Normalizing such acts is a recipe for looming trouble a head.
