So the outcry has forced a U-turn on NHS England's attempt to destroy access to PHP mental health support for secondary care docs

Now would be a good time for the BMA to make PHP access a red line. Access to this support must never be so casually threatened by NHSE ever again

It is very important this support remain available to SAS doctors who are potentially more vulnerable than
1. trainee colleagues who have access to PSUs through deaneries
2. consultant colleagues who may have more knowledge & confidence to access support via defence unions/BMA/OH

Could the BMA which founded the GMC for the purpose of making sure that only qualified doctors worked as doctors set up a new register as the GMC has lost sight of its original purpose?
