A glorious day in #Northumberland 's College Valley for our first Goats & Gourmet 🐐 of the year yesterday!
The landscape was speckled with wildflowers - bright Hawthorn and sunny Gorse blooms perfumed the air in the heat of the sun.
🧵Thread of sunshine, wildlife & happy faces.
Some yellow peas: Bird's Foot Trefoil, Horseshoe Vetch, Gorse and, I think, Lesser Trefoil (the tiny yellow peas always confuse me at the start of the season). Seen this afternoon near Plumpton, East Sussex #wildflowerhour #carrotsandpeas
I do like to see a stonechat on the flowering gorse bushes on the Dorset coast #carrotsandpeas #wildflowerhour Dorset National Landscape BSBI: Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland
