Thiazide diuretics can be used to reduce the rate of calcium stone recurrence by acting on the distal renal tubule to promoting calcium reabsorption. Potassium supplementation may be used to prevent thiazide-induced hypokalemia.

I know hypokalemia (low potassium) is serious but like is it THAT serious for me? Idk I’m debating whether or not I should tell my mum I don’t wanna get hospitalized but I don’t wanna die cuz I’m fat and that would be embarrassing

And take a look at how many of the sodiums were above 120

13 out of 15 cases

Also note that only 2 patients had rapid correction of sodium😳

Malnutrition, hypokalemia, and alcohol continue to represent as they do in every study. 4/4

I went to my oncologist today.
She said my potassium's gone away.
It's a condition, hypokalemia,
which feels a lot like anemia.
I need more of the element K,
So she prescribed pills to start today.
Having met my deductible the pills are free,
And we'll recheck my levels on day 3.
