The 💩 show continues for the River Lambourn.This morning's footage shows the manhole lids in the village of Lambourn are still continuously pouring fountains of untreated sewage pollution in this fragile chalk stream.
Shocking & unacceptable for our rivers, wildlife & people.

Everyone who went to Seven Barrows at the Lambourn Open Day last year fell in love with Shishkin. He loved having everybody come to see him and being the centre of attention. He was lovable, kind and hosted the party like no other. He was in such great form. It’s such a shame.

Sewage fungus thrives in water that is polluted by sewage & consumes oxygen potentially suffocating aquatic life.

We checked on the manhole in Oxford Street in Lambourn yesterda. YES, this one also still flowing untreated contents of the sewers straight into the River Lambourn.
3 months now of sewage flowing into this SAC & SSSI chalk stream & its been a recurring issue for at least 10yrs!
