I kinda regret painting my Talyllyn engines this bright shade of green. I think they look good, but I with I chose a darker color for them, because this shade would make a perfect LNER Apple Green

An honour to pay tribute to LNER Railway Policeman Robert W. Smith today. Robert lost his life in the York Air Raids 82 years ago. He was serving in York stationโs post room and was one of 94 people killed by the air raids on 29 April 1942. He had served the railway for over 40โฆ
Just realized how iconic and relevant Great Northern is in LNER pacific history being both the blueprint for future Gresley pacifics BUT ALSO the blueprint for future Thompson and Peppercorn pacific and even other other express engines
Whilst at #Grantham this evening we've been fortunate to see London North Eastern Railway InterCity 225 91127 on its way to Leeds & 91124 on its way to London ๐
