According to the UNOSAT analysis based on the GeoEye-1 Maxar Technologies image acquired on 27 May 2024, a landslide scar of 9 ha and 600 m long is observed in the Lagaip/Pogera district of PNG.

At least 18 structures are assessed as damaged and/or destroyed.
