On the weekend TRAID partnered with Col's Marketplace, an initiative by Surrey Square School that provides support to the Old Kent Road community Old Kent Road Family Zone. We donated a range of #secondhand clothing for the event's giveaway station & it was great to see the success of the initiative!
Echoing this - with particular thanks to the incredible people that make up Oval Learning Old Kent Road Family Zone Class 13 Partisan Surrey Square School London South Teaching School Hub BLAM UK The Black Curriculum Knights Youth Centre Big Education 🌎 Greenhouse Sports and Adrian Jones
For Edible Rotherhithe, a community food growing, gardening and arts charity based in Southwark, London, their 2023 highlight was working in the gardening club at Surrey Square School with pupils of all ages. They grew potatoes and other vegetables to share with the local families at Old Kent Road Family Zone.
