Land's End to Keswick Day 34: Comberbach to Wilmslow, 19.5 miles. When the highlight of your day is a perimeter walk of Manchester Airport you're in trouble. Some lovely architecture, though, National Trust Quarry Bank = fab, and the Pennines are one day closer. 548 miles down.

25 days of doing BS 😉wader surveys in the Yorkshire Pennines during April/May in the last 3 years and this is the first Curlew nest I’ve stumbled across. Great to see and in my least favourite habitat, tussock grass. Warley Moor reservoir in the background.
