This is a horrible, horrible mistake. They are trying to cut the 3 highest ridership stations in the system while building these dinosaurs. Tragic transit malpractice.

This is major bus news!! The Florida Ave bus corridor is the highest ridership corridor that isn't served in some aspect by Metro rail.

It connects multiple high density neighborhoods, healthcare facilities, job centers, and amenities.

City council cited low ridership as a reason to once again delay DC Streetcar expansion, but ridership is low because the system isn’t built out!

Imagine if we had taken the same approach with @WMATA after the first small segment opened in 1976! We never would have finished it!

Very happy that ANC 1B passed a resolution this month asking that DDOT DC include bus lane options in their design for the Florida Ave bus priority project. This corridor simultaneously has some of the slowest bus speeds while being one of the highest ridership corridors in DC.

Swiss officials reported to our study group that ridership has fully recovered in Switzerland - it now *exceeds* 2019 levels. They explained, it's not because the Swiss didn't embrace remote work– a significant share of Swiss are still working from home many days, commuting less.

The solution to fix MRT Kajang is to fix all of the trains so they can run 15-20 trains/hour during rush hour instead of a measely 10 trains/hour.

Right now the ridership isn't growing because the trains are full. Fix that, and people would be more incentivized to use it.
